Obituary
Mary M. Komlanc, 95 of Indianapolis passed away December 12, 2012. She was born April 8, 1917 in Chisholm, Minnesota to John and Mary (Pogorelc) Vesel, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband Frank J. Komlanc; Son, Robert Komlanc and granddaughter Bridget (Collins) Mayberry. Mary was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Slovenian National Home. She was a fanatic for the Indianapolis Pacers, Indians and Colts. She was also an avid race fan and enjoyed attending the Indianapolis 500. She is survived by her Sons, Frank Jr. (Terry), Mike (Juanita), and Tom (Janis)Komlanc; daughter Mary Agnes (Norman) Collins and a daughter-in-law Diane Komlanc; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held TODAY Friday, December 14 from 4 pm to 8 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls with a Rosary at 7:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, December 15 at 11 am in Holy Trinity Catholic Church 2618 W. St. Clair Street., Indpls. Interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church 2618 W. St. Claire Street Indianapolis, IN 46222 or to the Slovenian National Home 2717 West 10th Street Indianapolis, IN 46222

I grew up next door to Mary and Frank on Welch. I remember them always sitting on the front porch together. Now they are together forever in the home of the lord. Mary was such a sweet woman, when I was little she always let me sit on the porch with her and visit. My mom Cheryl, my dad Blaine, my brother Brian, and I will pray for strength for your family through this difficult time. God Bless you all.

Your Mom was such an amazing Lady, I will miss her very much. We always had a good visit when she was in the shop and traded stories about the grandchildren. She always had such wonderful praise for all of her children and of all you did for her. She so loved all the family dinners and going with you for bowling and other trips, she so loved all of you. May all of you find peace in knowing this, I will be forever greatful for knowing her.
