Obituary
Sarah Ellen McDougall Weller 72, wife of Mark S. Weller, passed away on December 14, 2012. She was born November 20, 1940 in Connersville, Ind., to the late Duncan and Gwendolyn McDougall (Durnell). Sarah attended High School at St. Agnes Academy in Indianapolis graduating in 1956. She spent the majority of her career as a Legal Secretary at Ice Miller Donadio & Ryan in Indianapolis, retiring from the firm in 2006. Prior to that, she was a corporate secretary for Allison Transmission. Sarah is survived by her husband, Mark; her son, Mark D. Weller (Marie); her daughter, Kim Horstman; three grandchildren, Morgan, Sarah and Jake Weller and her brother-in-law, Dale Weller. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Free Lungs (http://www.cancerfreelungs.org/), American Cancer Society or a charity of choice. Memorial calling will be held Monday, December 17, 2012, in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46224 from 5 pm to 7 pm with funeral services at 7 pm. Mr. Weller, Mark and Kim-I am very sad for your loss. Mrs. Weller was truly one of the nicest people I have ever met. I feel blessed to have known her. I want to sent my condolences to you & your family, i worked with your mom up at Ice Miller, she was such a sweet lady, everyone just loved her, we hated it when she retired, we missed her smile & laughter, she will definetly be sorely missed, our thoughts & prayers to the entire family.

Kim, Mark and Mark D and families I was so sorry to hear of Sarah's passing. I was fortunate to have been her neighbor for 3 years and then to work with her for several years at Ice Miller. Sarah was always a lovely person inside and out. It was a pleasure to know her. I know you will miss her greatly. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

Mr. Weller, Mark and Marie, Kim and family – I was so sad to hear of Mrs. Weller’s passing. She was such a warm and welcoming woman – making everyone feel like a part of the family. The King family has many fond memories of high school days, race weekends, and fun times with the Wellers – which were made even more special by the bright spirit of Mrs. Weller – her beautiful and ever-present smile and laughter.
