Obituary
Barbara Bell, 82, of Clermont passed away December 27, 2012. She was born on December 5, 1930 to Reed Sr. and Margaret (Ferguson) Mills, both preceding her in death. Barbara was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who also provided foster and child care in Clermont. She loved her family, animals and playing cards. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Hilbert Bell who passed away in 1995; children, Betty (Bob) DeBenenke and Bobby (Janet) Bell; sisters, Rita Dawson and Brenda Bridgewater and brothers, Tommy and Butch Mills. She is survived by her children, Rhonda (Doug) Harmueller, Stephen Bell, Terry (Jessie) Bell, Shirley (Steve) Taylor and Jackie Jafarabadi; brothers, Richard (Dana) Mills and Reed (Beverly) Mills Jr.; 24 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 1 from 4 pm - 8 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 2 at 11 am also in Stevens Mortuary with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow in West Ridge Park Cemetery. I am the daughter of Chauncey and Beryl Lattimer who ministered at Clermont Christian church in the 60's. We lived there on church street in the parsonage for 8 years. Frank Wilkenson told me of your mom's passing. I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am. I do know how hard it is. My father passed away too early 7 years ago in an auto accident. Mother still lives.

Bobbie was a close friend of my mother, Alice Wilkinson, who cared for her when she was ill . She devoted her life to care for her family and friends. She was a great example of how to value people and the simple things in life and. She will be greatly missed.

We are very sorry and deeply saddened by the news of Mrs. Bell's death. I spent a lot of time at her house over the years, as she babysat me when I was growing up. I have known her most of my life.
