Richard Brennan

Richard H. Brennan, 95, of Indianapolis passed away January 17, 2013. He was born on February 8, 1917 to Tony Hugh and Madge (Walker) Brennan, who precede him in death. Richard was a member of the Knights of Columbus #3682 and the Moose Lodge. He was a self-employed realtor for J & L National Homes. Richard also worked for the Indiana State Highway Commission in the relocation department of land acquisitions for many years, retiring in 1977. Richard was preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years, Ruth Katherine (Patterson) Brennan, who passed away in 1976; son, Kevin A. Brennan and daughter, Ruth Angeline Burden. He is survived by his sons, Richard H. (Dee) Brennan Jr. and Shawn A. (Karen) Brennan; daughters, Karen M. (John) Domogalik and Victoria M. (Charles) Cheshire; 23 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 24 from 9 am - 11 am in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 24 at 11:30 am in St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 3354 W 30th St., Indpls. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
