Gwendolyn Volpatti

Gwendolyn J. Volpatti, 69, of Avon passed away August 29, 2013. She was born July 26, 1944 to Paul and Mary (Mohler) Wildey. Gwen was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She considered all her friends relatives and once she chose you as a friend you were friends for life. Gwen is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald Volpatti, who passed away in November 2002. She is survived by her son, Anthony Ramon (Cami) Volpatti; sister, Kay (Bill) Sidey; brother in law, Ray (Betty) Volpatti; grandchildren, Tre Hunter Volpatti, Ron Louis Volpatti and Miranda Scott and niece, Aimee Sidey. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5 from 4 pm - 8 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 6 at 10:30 am in St. Christopher Catholic Church, 5301 W. 16th St., Speedway. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, P.O. Box 2303, Dept 154, Indpls, IN 46206-2303.
