Obituary
Catherine M. Stergar, 91, passed away May 9, 2013. She was born on July 20, 1921 in Columbus, Indiana to Austin and Emma Marie (Heitz) Henry, both preceding her in death. Catherine was a beloved mother of 5 children, grandmother of 5 granddaughters and great grandmother to 3 great grandsons. She spent her entire life loving and caring for others. She was married 62 years to her much loved husband, Harry A. Stergar who passed away October 8, 2009. Catherine's love for her faith of Christianity, her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren could not be surpassed. She has been described by many as "beautiful inside and out." She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl A. (Mark) Cromlich of The Villages, FL and Mary C. Stergar of Carmel, IN; son, Harry J. (Debbie) Stergar of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Juli Wells of Simpsonville, SC, Jennifer Brown of Greenwood, IN, Amanda Stergar of Indianapolis, IN, Savannah Stergar of Indianapolis, IN and Torey Stergar of Canada; great-grandchildren, Cole Wells of Simpsonville, SC and Gavin and Carter Brown of Greenwood, IN. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 13 from 10 am - 12 pm with a funeral service at 12 pm in Plainfield Christian Church, 800 N. Dan Jones Rd., Plainfield. Rev.Steve White officiating. Interment services will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

I'm so very sorry about the loss of your mom. I felt so close to her after meeting her. I hope that you will feel better knowing that she is okay now...with our Lord Jesus Christ. When I'm not feeling well, my little Mason says, "Mamaw, go to the "happy place". So I want you to go to the "happy place" and not be sad. I love you guys so much!
