Thomas Joseph Long, 74 died suddenly on Thursday, July 25, 2013, of Bethesda, MD. Beloved father of Seth Austin Long and Sarah Alison Tarnowski; grandfather of James Thomas Tarnowski; brother of Stephen, Michael, Vincent, David and Norman Long; longtime companion of Judith Walters. Relatives and friends may call at St. Bartholomew Church, 6900 River Road, Bethesda, MD, on Thursday, from 6 to 9 p.m. for visitation.
