Robert Walker

Robert Lee Walker, 57 of Indianapolis passed away on September 5, 2013. He was born on June 25, 1956 in Flint, MI to Wayne & Ila (Rogers) Walker, both preceding him in death. In 2010, Robert was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 13 years, Sandra (Shockley) Walker. Robert loved NASCAR his favorite driver was Jeff Gordon. He loved to spend the day fishing and did any chance he had. He was an avid sports fan and loved anything to do with sports. You could always find him enjoying a football or basketball game. He enjoyed watching Jeopardy with his son Jonathan. They always took the opportunity to challenge and debate each other over the answers. Robert was a joker with everyone he came in contact with. He was a devoted father and grandfather whom loved his family and would do anything to spend time with all his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his daughters Kelly (Shawn Cordray) Walker, Aimee (Bryan Wells) Walker, Son Jonathan Walker, step-daughters Leslie (Josh) McDonald and Amy Bush, one sister Ruthie Luther, three granddaughters Kalynn Walker, Kierra Wells, Kiersten Wells and three grandsons Caden Walker, Jeremiah Walker and Kristafer Wells, many nieces and nephews.
