Obituary
Norma J. Urbancic, 83, of Indianapolis passed away September 21, 2013. She was born December 8, 1929 in Indianapolis, IN to Harnold and Lorraine (Schanz) Totton. Norma worked for the US Postal Service from 1969 - 1989, retiring after 20 years of faithful service. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels and did volunteer work for Brownsburg Public School, facilitating testing for students' eyes and ears. She was passionate about life, her husband and family. Norma was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank C. Urbancic, to whom she was married to for 62 years; brother, Darrel Totton; sister, Patricia Miller and great-grandchild, Reese Urbancic. She is survived by her sons, Frank (Michelle) Urbancic; John Vincent Urbancic and Louis (Margaret) Urbancic; daughter, Sherryl Urbancic Caldwell; grandchildren, Ryan Cromer, Megan Caldwell, Louis Urbancic Jr., Zachary Urbancic, Kelsie Urbancic, Frank Urbancic III, Arlette Urbancic and Kassandra Urbancic; great grandchildren, David Urbancic and Orlando Caldwell; sister, Sharon Keers and brother, George Totton. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25 from 10 am - 12 pm with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 pm. in St. Christopher Catholic Church, 5301 W. 16th St., Speedway. Interment will follow in West Ridge Park Cemetery.

Frankie, John, and Sherryl, Our thoughts and prayers go out to you at the loss of your mom. She was such a delightful lady--I always loved when your parents came over for a visit--very special people. They have left you all with warm memories. I will always remember Aunt Norma for her great smile--she loved life! It is comforting to know that she is together with your Dad in God's home--I know Frank was waiting with open arms for her at heaven's gate. May God be with all of you during this difficult time. Aunt Norma was the first aunt I met after Granny T. She was a lovely special person. She welcomed me, and made me feel like I belonged. She will be missed.
