James Guthrie

Jim Guthrie, 73, of Indianapolis passed away March 28, 2014. He was born March 25, 1941 in Charleston, West Virginia to Walter and Norma (Chloteil) Guthrie. Jim worked in the transportation field. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Holy Family Council # 3682. For 26 years, Jim held season tickets for the Colts. He was preceded in death by his son, James Guthrie Jr. and daughters, Regina Sowards and Christal Guthrie. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Paula Guthrie; daughters, Vickkie Kuhn and Karen Yeager; step-sons, Stephen (Doris) Fulwider and Scott (Cinnamon) Fulwider; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 2 from 4 pm - 6 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 3 at 10 am in St. Christopher Catholic Church, 5301 W. 16th St., Speedway.
