Shirley Fields

Shirley Maxine Smith Fields, 87, of Indianapolis passed away October 9, 2014. She was born August 2, 1927 in Indianapolis, IN to Clyde E. Sr. and Betty Rebecca (Carr) Smith. Shirley retired from J.C. Penney's after many years of faithful service. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Mary E. McDaniel and Jeanne Thompson; brothers, Jerry and Jimmy Smith Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Ralph Fields; sons, Mike Sr. and Larry Fields; daughters, Jeanne Hardwick and Jamie Rudman; brother, Clyde Smith Jr.; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13 from 10 am - 12 pm with a funeral service at 12 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indianapolis.
