Obituary
Margaret E. Crouch, 83 of Indianapolis passed away August 21, 2014. She was born April 6, 1931 in Indianapolis, IN to William and Helen Pierce. Margaret was employed for 27 years at I.P.D. in too many departments to list. In a few short years she made sergeant and was also an "acting lieutenant" for a short period. She thought about moving up in rank, but ultimately decided against it. Margaret was a member of F.O.P. She enjoyed crocheting, euchre, bird watching, fishing and was an avid Colts fan. Margaret loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She really enjoyed doing things with her friends and family and also enjoyed life. Every year Margaret looked forward to going to the Credit Union picnic with family and see old friends from the department. Everyone that met Margaret loved her! That's how she was, she treated everyone like family. Margaret is preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas L. Crouch, who passed away in 1977. She is survived by her sons, Carl L. and Tim A. Crouch; granddaughters, Lauren Brush, Kristin Couch and Ashley Miller and grandson, Brandon M. Crouch. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28 from 4 pm - 8 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 29 at 11 am, also in the mortuary.

Love you mom, I will miss taking you to get your hair and nails done, and I will miss you hearing your voice every day.
Grams you were always so sweet and caring. I always knew I could talk to you about anything, and you would give me advice. You weren't judgmental and you were so wise about life. You could always tell when there was something bothering me, and after talking with you; I'd feel better. I will miss you greatly and you will always live on through our family. I love you so very much.
