Obituary
Dustin "Dusty" Edward Gipson went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, 7 October 2014. Dustin was a graduate of Ben Davis High School and earned his Associates Degree with Lincoln Technical University. He was an Eagle Scout with the rank of Firecrafter. He was currently employed at TMC Transportation as a mechanic. He is survived by his fiancée, Logan Maynard; son, Jaxson Gipson; step-daughter, Kinsley Hilderbrand; parents, Rita and Ronald Herald; father, Bruce Gipson; step-siblings, Ronald (Canise) Herald II, Anessa Starnes and half-siblings, Danielle and Shelby Gipson and Anthony (Tony) Gipson. Dustin will not only be missed by his family but also by many of his friends and colleagues. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14 from 4 pm - 8 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15 at 11 am, also in the mortuary. Interment will follow in West Ridge Park Cemetery.

My Love and prayers go out to Rita and Ron-and all the family. Dusty was like a son to me-Michael,Chrissy,Blake and ADAM all considered him family-my grandkds just loved him and Jaxson with all our hearts. He called me his second mom. He came over so much to see me and we would talk about you Rita and how much he loved you - have so many memories over the past 20 yrs with him. We would laugh when Rita would call Dusty to come home when the yard lights came on and he knew he better hit the road. All the boys,Michael,Blake and Adam have different stories about him at different times in his life-Adam was always there to help and Dusty the same to help us. Love you all and will miss him so much!!!!

Dear Rita and Ron, I have no idea what to say in this time of sorrow. I just know Ethan, Aaron and I have such fond memories of the boys playing together and being friends in their younger days. I know it has been a long time, but the good memories are what we hold on to. Our heartfelt condolences to you and Dusty's family. May God comfort your hearts as only He can.
