Kevin Mills

Kevin Earl Mills, 42, of Michigan passed away September 13, 2014. He was born August 16, 1972 in Indianapolis, IN to Lonnie D. and Patricia (Jones) Mills. Kevin worked for Conway Freight pulling triples across toll roads. He enjoyed bow hunting with his son, Jordan and shooting guns with his son, Kyle. He also enjoyed fishing with family and friends. Kevin was my soul mate. As long as he was holding me, I knew everything would be okay. The day we married everyone asked if I was nervous. But there was nothing to be nervous about. I was the luckiest woman in the world because I was marring Kevin. He accepted me for who I was faults and all yet he loved me like I was perfect. Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Arletta Mills; sons, Kyle Mills and Jordan Nelson; daughter, Brittany Nelson; grandson, Eligh Sprague; father, Lonnie Mills; brothers, Charles Childress, Lonnie Mills Jr., James Milles, Anthony Mills and Jason Milles; cousin, Wayne Mills and nieces, Catherine and Autumn Folts. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19 from 4 pm - 8 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indianapolis. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20 at 2 pm with visitation from 12 pm, also in the mortuary. Burial will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
