Obituary
Deanne Marie Lampert, 56, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away in her home on October 10, 2014 at 2:52 am. Deanne was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 15, 1958. She married Stephen Lampert on April 25, 1981. They have been blissfully married for more than 33 years. Together they raised four children and explored National and State Parks across the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. Often Deanne and Steve could be found at Eagle Creek park training for their next race or walking the trails. Deanne will be remembered for her many endearing qualities; her beautiful soul, her loving kindness and her gentle, soft spoke nature. Deanne is survived by her loving husband, Stephen Lampert; children, Stephen Jones, David Lampert, Lisa Lampert, and Brian Lampert; grandchildren, Samantha Jones, Ethan Messer, Kendall Messer, Eleanor Lampert, Park Jones, Josephine Lampert and Kannon Lampert; siblings, Denny Bruce, Mike Bruce, Tony Bruce, Susan Blake, Timmy Bruce, Kevin Bruce, Denise Ooten and many other family and friends. Deanne is preceded in death by her parents, Herschel and Berniece Bruce and her older brother, Ricky Bruce. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13 from 4 pm - 7 pm with a mass of Christian Burial at 7 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls. Father Vince Lampert, officiating.

My deepest sympathies and condolences to the family and close friends. Dee will so be missed. Soft spoken, kind, sweet, compassionate and understanding made her a beautiful woman on the inside and she was beautiful on the outside too. I think we were all blessed by having her in our lives. I will see you on the other side someday Dee. Thanks for being such a wonderful person. <3

I grew up in the same neighbor remember her as a very quite girl so pretty and nice. So sorry for the families lost. What a wonderful Angel she will be. RIP Nanette

I got to know Deanne from going to school with her and her cousin, Janie McElfresh at #49. She was very quiet and so sweet. My sincere sympathy to Steve, their children, the Bruce family and the McElfresh family.
