Elizabeth Volpatti

Elizabeth "Betty" Volpatti, 86, of Speedway passed away January 24, 2015. She was born October 29, 1928 in Indianapolis, IN to John King and Mary Francis Scott. Betty attended St. Vincent School of Nursing and was a registered nurse at the V.A. Hospital for 25 years before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sons, David and Alan Volpatti. Betty is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Ramon Volpatti; daughters, Lisa Smith and Marcia Stevenson both of Indianapolis, IN; sons, Brian (Angelene) Volpatti of Dayton, OH and Mark Volpatti of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Daniel Smith, Speedway, IN, Padrick Anderson, Oakland, CA, Isabella Volpatti, Dayton, OH, Grace Stevenson, Madeleine Stevenson, both of Speedway, IN and great grandchildren, Schylar M. and Layla R. Smith both of Speedway, IN. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 28 from 4 pm - 7:30 pm with a rosary at 7:30 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 29 at 11 am in St. Christopher Catholic Church, 5301 W. 16th St., Speedway. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
