Stephen Curtis

Stephen Roy Curtis Sr., 58, of Indianapolis passed away April 21, 2015. He was born September 3, 1956 in Indianapolis to Roy and Wanda Curtis. Stephen was a hardworker, a family man, kind, giving, loving and had a great sense of humor. He was employed as a maintenance technician and was always working and taking care of everyone else, never once complaining. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was handsome, smart, quiet and an observer. He loved scratch off tickets and Pepsi. Stephen's main love was for his family. Stephen was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Curtis; children, Angela Stalling, Stephen Curtis Jr. and Kacie (Justin) Suhre; grandchildren, Audrey Stalling, Megan Stalling, Breyana Suhre, Clayton Smoot, Maximus Suhre and Matthew Suhre; sisters, Donna Susan, Debbie Wagers, Marsha Mora, Tammy Aultman, Tonya Curtis and Dawn Denny; brother, Roy and Jack Curtis and sister in laws, Dawn Luthe and Tammy Mattingly. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23 from 4 pm - 8 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indianapolis. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 24 at 11 am, also in the mortuary.
