Michael Kistler

Michael "Mike" "Cheeseburger" Kistler, 56, of Indianapolis, passed away June 2, 2015. He was born to Wayne J and Lucille Aline (Mudd) Kistler on September 29, 1958 in Indianapolis, IN. He was employed as a construction worker with Local 120 for over 30 years and retired in 2010. Mike was an avid race car fan and loved any type of racing whether it involved wheels or not. His passion was Indy car racing, the Indy 500 and NASCAR. He also enjoyed deer and mushroom hunting, shopping flea markets and yard sales. Mike was a devoted father and grandfather and loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his lifelong companion Jeanne L. Kistler; daughter, Amy Kistler; son, Jason (Tabitha) Kistler and three grandchildren, Nathan, Hannah and Emma; sisters, Brenda (Bruce) Cardwell and April (Gary) Twyman. Visitation will be held Friday, June 5, from 4pm-8pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 West 10th St., Indpls. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 6, at 11am also in the mortuary. Burial in Bethel Cemetery.
