Obituary
Sylvia M. Lampert Stanfield, 92, of Indianapolis passed away May 19, 2015. She was employed at RCA and Van Camp and was the past president at school #74 PTA. She was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Slovenian National Home, SNPJ, KSKJ, Slovenian Union of America, Slovenian Culture Society and Slovenian Women's Club. Sylvia enjoyed dancing, bowling, riverboat gambling and taking trips to Las Vegas and Slovenia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Stanfield Sr. whom she was married to for 60 years and daughter, Carol June Stanfield. She is survived by her sons, Randolph and Frank J. Stanfield Jr.; god daughter, Darlene Stanfield and god son, Tom Vertacnik. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21 from 4 pm – 8 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 22 at 10:30 am in St. Michael Catholic Church, 3354 W. 30th St., Indpls. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Slovenian National Home, 2717 W. 10th St., Indianapolis, IN 46222 or Yaggers Conservation Club, 2717 W. 10th St., Indianapolis, IN 46222.

Sorry to hear about Sylvia. My mom passed on April 18th. I know she was in a nursing home as was my mom. Sylvia was always very nice to me. Sorry I won't be able to attend Thursday. I will be in the hospital for some testing.
Condolences to Frankie John and Randy - 2 of my best buddies I grew up with.
Your dad Inca was a gem also!
