Obituary
Linda K. Dooley Ping, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away July 1, 2015. She was born August 15, 1946 to Robert C. Dooley and Pricie “Pat” L. Dooley. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert L. Ping who passed away in 2012 after 43 years of marriage. Linda was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 1587. She is survived by her daughters; Kimberly Osborn and Sonya Watson, son; Robert Ping, sister; Sharon Evans, brother; George Dooley, Portland, OR, grandsons; Dustin Whiteman and Zachery Watson, granddaughters, Shelbi Strauss, Chelsea Osborn, Kaylee Watson and Audrey Ping, great granddaughter; Elliot Whiteman and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 5 from 3pm-6 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 West 10th St., Indianapolis. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 6 at 11am with visitation one hour prior, also at the mortuary with Pastor Jim Littlejohn presiding. To my precious mommy, I grieve for you every moment of every day so far. I know God has made you whole again with no more pain and your memory back where it should be. Linda and I met each other 40 years ago and remained dear friends always. I lost contact with Linda about 6 years ago . Didn't have Kim or Sonyas last names.
Too many fun and happy times to recount them all but Linda was such a fun person to be with always looked forward to her visits. Will miss her much.
