Obituary
Benjamin E. Webb, 77, of Indianapolis passed away September 25, 2015. He was born December 6, 1937 in Elwood, IN to James H. and Mary Hershey Webb. Benjamin worked for United Technologies, Carrier and Marsh Supermarket. He served his country in the Air Force for 4 years. Benjamin was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and the K of C. He was a fan of the Cubs and the Indianapolis Colts, and he also enjoyed watching and playing golfing. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, James and Joseph Webb. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Deardra A. (Cancilla) Webb; daughter, Pamela (Tony) Domogalik; son, Patrick (Kelly) Webb; brothers, George (Vera), Robert (Sheila) and William (Karen) Webb; sister, Lois (Everitt) MacPhearson; grandchildren, Maura, Noah, Franklin, Nicholas and Angelina. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015 from 4 pm – 8 pm with a rosary service at 7:30 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 10:30 am in St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 3354 W. 30th St., Indpls. Burial will follow in Washington Park North Cemetery.

So Sorry to hear. I worked with Ben at Carrier Indianapolis for many years. He was the only one who believed I was way ahead of my time, and for that I will always remember him. He had a certain way of letting you know he was your friend. It may have looked awkward to some, but that grin on his face was telling you something. Only the people he was grinning at, knew what it meant, and that was the mystique about him. Rest in peace my friend!!!

I worked with Ben at Carrier. I have spent the last few days reflecting on those days at Carrier realizing that people like Ben make those memories good ones. I pay Ben what I consider to be the ultimate compliment and one I hope is spoken often when my time comes.
Quite simply - "He was a Good Man"!

I am so sorry for the Webb Family and your loss; I recently lost my Mom. I have found death to leave me with a feeling of helplessness. May I leave you this word of encouragement that has helped me? The Bible says at 1 Corinthians 15: 26 that God hates death, and shows it to be an enemy. He has "a yearning" to conquer that enemy, to undo death by means of the resurrection. He longs to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them live on earth again. -Job 14:14, 15. My sincere condolences.

Dear DeDe, my heart goes out to you. I know you did everything possible to keep Ben alive & comfortable. He was lucky to have such a devoted, loving wife. I know you are devastated to have lost Ben. I am so sorry to hear of the death of Benjamin. The passing away of a loved one is always with much sorrow. May we have faith and confidence in the Bible's promise of a time when pain, sickness and death are a worry of the past (Revelation 21:3, 4). My condolences are with the family at this difficult time.

Dee and Pam, Know you are very much in my prayers at this time. Ben is enjoying peace to the fullest now. Making the adjustment to his physical departure will be hard but I know you will be comforted knowing that he is whole again. Blessings on you and my deepest sympathy.
