Catherine Moneymaker

Catherine Joyce Moneymaker, 61, of Indianapolis passed away October 5, 2015. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on December 21, 1953, daughter of Tom and Claudette (Parker) Webb, who precede her in death. Cathie and Roy Moneymaker were married November 21, 1990, so the number 21 has special meaning to them. Cathie was preceded in death by her only son, Chad, who attended Ball State University where he received a Graduate Degree in Tele-Communications. Cathie spent countless hours in the company of Roger Webb, who was not only her brother, but her BEST friend whom she loved dearly. Cathie had many interests. She loved all sports, gardening and cooking. Cathie collected cookbooks and Avon Collectibles; she would often be found in the yard reading a good book with her little dog, Tatar Tot. Holidays were a special time; we will always remember how Cathie took time to personalize everyone's gift! Cathie would cook for an army and Chad enjoyed eating the leftovers. Cathie had so many friends and was loved by so many! Friends of today and cherished friends of yesterday. A special thanks to friends, Stacy Beam, Dana and Ronnie Brown and Dan. We will all remember her smile and her witty sense of humor. Forever in our hearts!!!! Cathie is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Roy Moneymaker; brother, Roger Webb; brothers in law, Fred (Rhonda) , Archie and Ted Moneymaker; sisters in law, Peggy (Daniel) Scotten and Barbara Moneymaker; nieces and nephews, Bryan (Amanda) Denbo, Heather (Mike) Trotter, Nikki (Omar) Ornelas, Nicholas Tyler, Holly, Peggy and Tricia Moneymaker, Roy (Lynnete) Hodges, Kimberly (Jeremy) Maibe and Justin Hodges. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13 at 3 pm in West Ridge Park Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow at the home of Roy Moneymaker, 1432 Lucerne Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46241.
