Obituary

Brian Courtney Easton was born on June 29, 1970, to Robert and Linda Easton in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a graduate of Tri-West High School, where he excelled in football before graduating in 1989. Brian began a dedicated 30-year career at Carrier Corporation, where he worked until his retirement in 2023.

On July 21, 2004, Brian married his soulmate, Tonya Brown, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and memories. Brian was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Those who knew him knew of his passions: hunting, collecting firearms, getting tattoos, and taking long, peaceful rides on his motorcycle. He treasured spending time with his family, his church family, and his friends.

Brian gave his life to Christ and was baptized at Connection Pointe Christian Church in Brownsburg, Indiana, where he was an active member.

Brian passed away peacefully at home on the morning of January 22, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Linda Easton.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Tonya Easton; children, Hayley (Jonathon) Thomas, Camoni (Anthony) Easton, Briaun Powell, Christine Brown Boberschmidt, and Brandon Brown; grandchildren, Sawyer, Maverix, Denver, Parker, Boston, Kali, Deslyn, and Kaniah; his sister, Laura (Doug) Warren; his niece, Heather Warren; as well as a host of other family and friends who will miss him dearly.

*"I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."*

— John 8:12

I remember the times that we spent together when Brian was young. We used to love going to family reunions at different parks and playing baseball. Rest in peace, Brian, with all of your loved ones who have gone to heaven before you and are greeting you upon your arrival. God bless!

Brian was my cousin. His grandma Loretta and my dad carl were brother and sister. I think that would have made us cousin`s once removed because his dad Bob was my first cousin. I didn`t know Brian when he was a kid but my mom and dad and his mom and dad were very close. I later got to know Brian after his diagnosis and will forever be grateful that I was given the chance to get to know the courageous man he was. He fought thru I`m sure unimaginable pain with humor and grace. He accepted and praised the Lord giving his life to Him , acknowledging his need for a loving forgiving God thru Jesus His son. I know his family loved him dearly and I can see why, He was a good man and to Tonya and family I`m so sorry for your loss. We will be holding you all in our prayers.

Brian is my best friend, he and I was inseparable at Carrier. My memories are riding motorcycles, gun shopping, and trying new restaurants. We laughed at everything and had each other's back. You'll be greatly missed, but remembered in our hearts and mind. Through the son Yahusha you were saved, and Yahuah the father is awaiting your arrival.

I worked with Brian at Carrier from his first day. He was the guy who could do anything. He was a strong man in many ways. He had a gift of commanding a situation if he wanted to and was good at everything he did. He was the kind of man that was trustworthy, honest and loyal. He turned out to be a gift to Carrier and was highly respected. He even helped others to excell. Fly high Brian. Prayers for Tonya and the children to find a way through this gracefully.
