Obituary
Esther Coss Mughmaw, 69, lost her long and courageous battle with cancer on November 6, 2015. Esther was the daughter of Herbert and Annabelle Coss, and was the oldest of six children. In 1976 she married the love of her life, Brian Mughmaw. She was an educator in the Wayne Twp. School system for 30 plus years, retiring in 2001. Esther was a member of the Rubber Chicken Club, The Five Page Turner book club, and the Chapelwood Chicks. She loved to travel and visited many places throughout the US with her friends and family. She enjoyed following the accomplishments of her former students and kept track of them as best she could. An organizer and planner, Esther was famous for having special surprises for everyone in her life. She was preceded in death by her husband and father. Esther is survived by her mother; brother, Russell of Indianapolis, IN, Mark (Cathy) of Mooresville, IN, Jeffrey (Tammy) of Indianapolis, IN, Raymond (Judy) of Murfreesboro, TN and Gary (Melva) of Indianapolis, IN; sister in law, Jean Ann (Chris) Clark of Showlow, AZ; six nephews, three nieces and nineteen great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 21 from 11 am – 1 pm with a funeral service at 1 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Esther's memory to: Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256 or the Julian Center, 2011 N Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN 46202.

I am so sorry to hear about Esters passing. I worked with her in the Media Center at Chapel Glen many years ago. She was such a sweet lady to work with. Sorry for your loss.
