Glenda (Gail) Marcum Robinette (December 2, 1951 - December 8, 2015) was called home to be with the Lord December 8, 2015. Glenda (Gail) Marcum Robinette was born in Hancock Co. TN on December 2, 1951 and resided most of her life in Indiana. She was a loving homemaker and raised her two daughters in Markleville, IN. Glenda will be sadly missed as a loving mother, nana, sister, and friend. She will be remembered for nurturing, caring, and supporting those around her. She enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren, church, and volunteering. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oakland City University. Survivors include daughters, Kimberly Robinette, and Charlotte Robinette; sisters Linda (Kenny) Powers, Geraldine (Kenny) Marshall, and Peggy Marcum; grandchildren Ryan Humphries, Jasmine Robinette, Audri (David) Heath, Breeanna Robinette, and Trustin Robinette; great grandchildren Mason Wilson Heath and Bridget Heath; as well as many cherished relatives and friends. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents Chester Marcum and Edith (Edds) Marcum, brother Lloyd Marcum, and sister Libby Marcum. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Monday December 14, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 3354 W. 30th St., Indianapolis, with visitation from 10:00 AM until service time. The Rev. Robert 'Bob' Robeson will be officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in the Marcum family cemetery, Rose Hill, VA.

Oh my dear sweet Aunt Gail..... You are free of this life...fly among the angels.. run along the clouds....give my dad a big hug and kiss from me.... Nana and Grandpa have been waiting for you.....say hello to my mom (she always loved you and her extended family).....so much to say, things that I wish we said can now only be heard through our dreams.....rest well dear Aunt Gail, I have never forgotten you and never will........

My condolences to the family and friends. The loss of a loved one is never easy but our loving God has made provisions for us to have a resurrection. Glenda was aware of her spritual needs and would want you to remember God's promise at acts 24:15 that says there is going to a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous, and with this hope it is possible for you to see her again. More comfort is given at Rev. 21:3,4 where it talks about a restored paradise where the human family will have the prospect of enjoying everlasting life, free of sickness, disease and death as we welcome back our dear loved ones. May these scriptures help comfort you along with all the wonderful memories of Glenda your loved one.

I am so sorry to hear that Glenda passed away. I was a volunteer with her for about 4 years. She was very kind, compassionate, sincere and took her faith in God seriously. I will miss her very much. She was a good person.
