Obituary
Joe Aranjo, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 10, 2016, at the Golden Living Center. He was born a twin in Denver, Colorado, to Margarito and Emeteria Aranjo. Joe was one of eight children. He is survived by brother Alex Aranjo, and sister Ramona Foos. Joe served our country in the US Army during World War II. After his military service, he and his brother Tim opened Indianapolis' first Mexican restaurant. The La Fiesta was a successful family business for over thirty years. Denise Commeville, deceased, and Joe had three children, Steven, Garen, and Cynthia. Joe was blessed with six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2016 at the Lincoln Memory Gardens Chapel 6851 S. Indianapolis Rd. Whitestown, IN. with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. I worked for Tim & Joe in 1956 & 1957 and they were special people in my life. Denise and I became very good friends but I lost touch with everyone. I remember you kids, especially Steve & Gary as Lisa was quite young when I no longer worked there and glad you had your Dad as long as you did. I am the granddaughter of Fred and Mildred Myers I remember how much my family would take me to the Resteraunt and joe would come and play with me at the table. Joe was a wonderful person and so friendly. He will be greatly missed.

My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one is never easy but please find comfort in God's word the bible that says there is going to be a resurrection. Acts 24:15 says there is going to be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous, and with this hope it is possible for you to see him again. We are given more of God's promises at Rev. 21:3, 4 that talks about a restored paradise where the human family will have the prospect of enjoying life without end, free of sickness, disease and death, as we welcome back our dear loved ones.
