Cindy Meyers

Cynthia Kay Herndon Meyers, 51, passed away on April 7, 2016. She was born in Indianapolis on January 17, 1965 to George C. and Sandra Kay (Walker) Herndon. Cindy was a Dietary Aid with the Wayne Township Schools at Bridgeport Elementary. She loved being home spending time with her children, grandchildren and husband. She was loving and devoted to her grandchildren spending as much time as she possibly could playing and talking with them. Cindy loved planting flowers in the spring and sitting outside. She loved the holidays and getting together with family laughing and reminiscing. Cindy liked a variety of music and would listen as she cleaned the house. Coffee was her best friend all day long. SHE LOVED HER COFFEE! Cindy is preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Sandra Lay Walker Herndon; and one sister, Marlena File. She leaves behind to cherish her memory a loving and devoted husband of 25 years, Mr. Jay E. Meyers; her beautiful daughters, Amy Herndon, Amber Meyers and Aubrey Meyers; her two precious granddaughters, Alanah Moxley and Asiah Baker; sister, Jolana Williams; brother, George C. Herndon Jr.; and father, Mr. George C. Herndon Sr.; and a very large extended family.
