full obituary coming soon... David J. Lane, 76, of Indianapolis passed away on June 7, 2016. Visitation will be “TODAY”, Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 4:00 pm until 7:30 pm with a rosary at 7:30pm at Stevens Mortuary 5520 W.10th St. Indpls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Friday, June 10, 2016 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church 3354 W. 30th St. Indpls. Interment will follow in Lincoln Memory Gardens. I have known Super Dave for almost my entire life he meant a lot to me his family is like my own had a lot of good times with Super his wife Becky is a sweet heart and I'll help her in anything she needs I love them both and will miss but never forget Super Dave

My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one is never easy. May our loving God continue to bless and strengthen you as you remember his Word the Bible says at John 5:28, 29 that there is going to be a resurrection. With this hope it is possible for you to see him again. The best Friend a bereaved person can have is our Creator, Jehovah God. We are encouraged at 1 Peter 5:7 to pour out our heart to him in prayer because "he cares for you." Moreover he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding."
