Jerry Heffner

On behalf of the Société de Police - IPD Adam & Edward, our condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Jerry L. Heffner on being informed of his recent passing. I remember him from his generous invites at 500 Mile Race times during which he always provided a wonderful meal to the detailed officers leading up to the event. It was appreciated and not only because his sons were LEOs. He related to me once he simply felt the need to so something for the officers and that something - at the least with me - is not forgotten! To the family we offer the following thought at this time of great loss: A loved one's death is not an end if they can live on in their children and the younger Generations. For they are him, albeit the deceased's body is now only the wilted leaves from the tree of life. For Mr. Heffner we offer the following prayer: Eternal rest grant unto Jerry L. Heffner, Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him . May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
