My Aunt Shirley (and my Aunt Pat) were my 2 favorite aunts. I have a lot of fond memories of them as a kid in San Francisco and the camping trips with my Grandparents. They were like my big sisters in a way. Sadly we have not been able to see each other in many, many years. Although she passes now into the great unknown, I know we will all be together again in another time, and another place.
My condolences to Bill, Sharon, Pat and the rest of her extended family.

Bill and Sharon-I am so sorry this has happened, I know Shirley is with God but I also know it still hurts. I always got along so well with her, even when I pruned the apple tree WAY back, she had a smile for me-and great apples the following year!
I know you both will miss her terribly but in the end we all will come together again. Bill, if you ever get back to California please let me know and Sharon keep being the great woman you have come to be. I miss the good old days.

My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one never easy. May our loving God continue to bless and strengthen you as you remember that his word the bible says at John 5:28, 29 that there is going to me a resurrection. With this hope, it is possible for you to see her again. The best friend a bereaved person can have is our Creator, Jehovah God. We are encouraged to pour out our heart to him in prayer because "he cares for you." (1Peter 5:7! Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. (Philippians 4:6, 7) Please allow God to help you heal by means of his consoling Word, the Bible. May all the many wonderful memories that Shirley your loved one provided comfort you during this most difficult time.
