Carlotta J. Katra, 56, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on October, 5, 2016. She was born in Dayton, OH in February of 1960 to Roy and June Livesay. Carlotta started her own business 6 years ago. She was an advocate for seniors and an Eldercare consultant. Her goal was to educate and help people live the best quality of life in their senior years. Family was a top priority for Carlotta. She loved getting together with her family for holidays, birthdays, and all special occasions. If there wasn't a special occasion to celebrate, she invented one to get everyone together. She was so proud of her children and their many accomplishments. She was expecting her first grandchild in January and could not have been more excited. Steve and Carlotta loved their lake house and spent every weekend there with their friends and family. They planned to retire and live at the lake most of the year and wanted to rent an RV so they could travel and decide where they were going to live the rest of the year. Carlotta was recognized for her fashion sense. She was never without her lipstick, earrings, and a necklace. Her style carried over into her love for decorating and crafts. As she wished, she was a gift of life donor for organs, eyes, and tissue. Now she rests in peace and will be missed by all of her family and friends. She is survived by her parents; husband, Steve Katra; children Sophie Warner of Plainfield, IN, Steven (Kate) Katra of Brownsburg, IN; sister, Bonita (Ed) Wiseman of Cincinnati, OH; niece, Beth (Patricio Meneses) Wiseman of Cincinnati, OH; nephew, Alex (Lillie) Wiseman of Cincinnati, OH.

My most sincere condolences for your loss. I was fortunate enough to support Carlotta in her business as her Virtual Assistant. She was always learning and trying new things which made her a brilliant marketer. Her work has touched so many lives and her legacy will live on with those she has served through Senior Care Advisors.
It was a privilege to know Carlotta and I'm grateful that our paths crossed. Blessings for peace and comfort as you remember her.

No words can even express what a great loss we all feel right now. I can't imagine what you are going through. Carlotta and I met through Mothers & More, a stay at home moms group. It was my saving grace. We have been friends ever since. Even if it had been awhile since we last spoke, it didn't matter. We could pick up right where we left off. I pray for strength and peace for all of you!!

I had the privilege of knowing Carlotta through our work with the senior population. Over the past few months, I had the opportunity to talk with Carlotta at length and grew to truly appreciate so many of her beautiful qualities. I will definitely miss her. You have my sympathy.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Carlotta at the end of September. She was the presenter for the meeting that we host. It was a true pleasure to hear her speak about the passion that she has for the senior community. She was a wealth of knowledge and will be greatly missed. I met her one time and she is one of those people that you just would like to spend more time with! My thoughts are prayers are with the family of Carlotta!
