Courtney Rae Tenney, 29, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away on October 25, 2016. Courtney was born in Indianapolis on October 9, 1987 to Donald R. and Jean Ann (Hinders) Tenney. She was a graduate of Avon High School. Courtney's love and life was devoted to her son, Olli. She enjoyed music, writing lyrics and poetry. She loved working and playing with kids. She had a flair for styling hair, make-up and nails. She was loved by so many, adored by all and will be missed. She is survived by her son, Olli Cedric Owens; parents Donald R. Tenney and Jean Ann Tenney; sisters, Cassie (Paul) Meyers, Heather Tenney; brother, Trevor (Kirsten Thomason) Tenney; grandfather, Mr. David Hinders; aunts, June Richie, Teresa Reed; uncles, Jim Hinders, Victor Tenney, Walter Tenney; nieces, Shyla Simmons and Molly and Emma Meyers. The family kindly request no flowers, instead please make memorial contributions to a trust fund for her son, Olli C. Owens in care of Stevens Mortuary 5520 W. 10th St. Indianapolis, IN 46224.
