Obituary
Magalene Street, 92 of Plainfield passed away on October 28, 2016. Magalene was born in Morgantown, KY on March 19, 1924 to Owen and Mary (Garner) Decker. Magalene was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be missed by many. Magalene is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Ernie Sharer, Larry Craig, Bill. Magalene is survived by her son, Robert (Patricia); grandson's, Chad (Courtney), Bradley (Kristy), Shannon; granddaughters, Debra and Darlene; niece Ruby and eight great grandchildren.

My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one is never easy. May our loving God continue to bless and strengthen you as you remember that his Word the Bible at John 5:28, 29 says that there is going to be a resurrection. With this promise it is possible for you to see her again. The best Friend a bereaved person can have is our Creator, Jehovah God. We are encouraged at 1Peter 5:7 to pour out our heart to him in prayer because "he cares for you." Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding." (Philippians 4:6,7) May you find comfort in your Bible, along with the site www.jw.org where you will find a wealth of Bible topics that deal with all areas of life.May all the many wonderful memories that Magalene your loved one provided comfort you during this most difficult time.

Bobby - I am sorry. One can prepare for the loss of an elderly parent intellectually but that doesn't ease the emotion and the ache for times past.
My mom really was impressed with how resilient Maggie was, and I know would be equally saddened for you.
Linda and I will reach out soon so we can reminisce a bit about some happy past times.
