Obituary
Joseph M. Luzar, 99, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on November 2, 1916. Joseph was born July 30, 1917 in Indianapolis to Frank and Rose Luzar. In 2005, Joseph was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Mary M. Luzar; brothers, Frank and Ben; sisters, Rose Duh and Mary Oslos. Joseph served proudly and bravely in the U.S. Army from 1942 – 1945. He was the Night Watchman at Washington High School and a lifelong member of K.S.K.J. and Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Joseph was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He is survived by his children, Joseph F. Luzar, Patti (Steve) Wiseman and Willy (Peggy) Luzar; granddaughter, Kasey Luzar and many nieces and nephews. Joe was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.

God rest Great Uncle Joe's soul. He was a kind person. I really enjoyed seeing him this past month with Sherree and Jean. He was so sweet!

We all wish for a long and healthy life. Joe got that and more. My fondest memories growing up was playing at Denver (Arnolda) Park and coming over to ask for a drink out of the hose. Joe would bark on occasion, but he would never bite.

Dear Luzar Family,
So very sorry to hear about Mr. Luzar passing. If I remember correctly, Joseph's brother Frank I believe had work at Indiana Rating Bureau many, many years ago and I was introduced to Frank by my Great Aunts when I started working there. If I am correct about this please let me know. I pray that the Luzar Family will find some comfort in knowing the Joseph is truly at Peace with a Very Loving God.
