Obituary
Sierra Arlene Craig, 28, of Clermont, IN passed away on November 10, 2016. Sierra was a leap year baby, born in Indianapolis on February 29, 1988 to John “Jay” W. and Susan M. (Knox) Craig. Sierra is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lucille Steddenbenz and Robert B. Knox; paternal grandparents Orland B. and Imogene Craig. Sierra attended Robey Elementary, participating in Basketball on the Robey Rockets. Later she attended Fulton Jr. High and graduated in 2006 from Ben Davis High School where she was a member of the Choir. Sierra loved to sing and had a passion for the arts, music, drawing and painting. She also received a Medical Assistant Diploma from Kaplan College. Sierra loved animals and her favorite pets were her dog “Happy” and her cat “Jade”. She is survived by her parents; aunts, Arlene F. (Greg) Russell, Janice Harris; uncle, William (Jan) Craig and several cousins and a host of family and friends. In lieu of Flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Sierra's memory to the Humane Society of Indianapolis 7929 N. Michigan Road Indianapolis, Indiana 46268.

The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family.
We meet monthly on the first Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, 99 W. Main St, Greenwood, IN 46142 and on the third Thursday at the Epworth United Methodist, 6450 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46220.
