Reny was a joy to work with and always up to some mischief. The stories we could tell. My kids called him the Car God and just took their car to Reny to get them serviced. My daughter and grandson remember him as wonderful part of their lives over the years. He was a wonderful golf partner on occasion playing with 3 ladies who were beginners, displaying a patience most would not. You will be greatly missed by all of us Reny. Kat

I can't remember a time when Reny wasn't part of my life.
When I was little, he would take my friends and me to the movies, the mall, lunch, or the water park while my mom was working. He would drop us off and always pick us up when we were ready to come back.
When I turned 16 and started driving, I’m sure I drove him crazy with my little convertible. Reny used to joke that the real problem was “the nut behind the wheel”—it took me a few years to realize he meant me.
In my late 20s and 30s, I had the chance to work with Reny at Ed Martin. He drove the shuttle for customers and took care of all of us like family. He even helped me with my son, Dmitri — dropping him off at school, picking him up, or running him home if we were busy at work.
Looking back, it’s amazing to realize just how much Reny took care of both of us.
After I moved to Florida, I didn’t see him as often, but recently I had the chance to spend a few hours visiting with him. I will be forever grateful for that time.
Reny will be deeply missed — but his kindness, patience, and love will stay with me always.

Reny was one of the good ones. I am blessed he was brought into my life and I was granted the opportunity to know him and Chris. I may have only known him for a short time but I know I will always remember him and I’ll hear him say “behave babe” and smile. He will be deeply missed by anyone who knew him. My prayers are with his family at this time.
