Obituary
Jeffrey Alan Berg, 65, of Indianapolis passed away on November 20, 2016. Jeff was born in Noblesville, IN on April 19, 1951. He was a proud graduate of Indiana University and Loyola University, New Orleans College of Law. Jeff practiced law in Indianapolis for almost 40 years as a private attorney and with the Marion County Public Defender Agency. He also served as judge of the Marion County Small Claims Court, Decatur Division for over 20 years. He is survived by his wife of over 35 years, Jan, his three sons Josh (Nahla), Jake, and Joel, and the world's greatest grandson Alexander. He is also survived by his mother Carolyn Ford, and his siblings Kevin (Theresa) Ford and Shelley North. His father, James Berg, preceded him in death. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to either the American Cancer Society 5635 W. 96th Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278 or Planned Parenthood 200 S Meridian St Ste 400, Indianapolis, IN 46225.

A great guy that I have very fond memories of. Pretty sure he took me (along w/ Josh and some of the other 9 or 10yr old riff-raff) to my first Colts game. Very kind, very handsome, and a great dad to my friend. RIP.

Jeff was truly a very fun, loving and caring person. He had a great personality. It was a pleasure working with him through the years (on and off approximately 20 years) as I have learned a lot from him. He will always be remembered. Prayers to Jan and the boys and the rest of the family.
