I am so sorry to hear of your loss (Berda) I have been thinking about you so much and
wish I could just put my arms around you right now. We just never know what life is
going to give us do we? But we thank God for family and the good times that has been
enjoyed. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Melonie gave me the news and
I explained to her why I can't be there. You have a lot of family don't you? I didn't
realize how many, I hope they will be a comfort to you. Love you.

Berta, and, Bill’s family, we are so sorry for your loss.
Bill was among the most intelligent, perceptive, tolerant men in our world. We will miss his easy laugh and quick wit! He always brought a readiness and openness to whatever may come, welcoming something new or fresh to spark his interest.
Even when he had cause to feel sorry for himself, he did not put his pain or worry upon us. Instead, he offered a willing hand and kind heart.
We are better people for having known Bill Gardner. We often walked away from visiting with him, feeling uplifted and energized. We took with us, an urge to mimic his genuine response to our comments, and, Life, with “Well, Sure!” and “Yes!”
Godspeed, endearing Bill!

Roberta,
So sorry for your loss. I worked with Bill at EDS and he was always such a friendly guy. I did not remember that he was part of the "retirement" group from 2005, as I was also. You are in my prayers.
