Charlotte Moore

Charlotte A. Moore, 76, of Indianapolis passed away December 22, 2016. Charlotte was born on August 5, 1940 in Indianapolis, IN. She enjoyed her work as head custodian for IPS School 39 retiring in 1993. She adored spending time with her family including her dogs Cassie and Max and could often be found on Facebook keeping up with her children and grandchildren and her many worldwide friends. She enjoyed vacationing in Lake Osakis, Minnesota. Charlotte is well remembered for her love of hummingbirds, white butterflies, and her backyard full of beautiful flowers. Charlotte is survived by the love of her life, husband of 32 years, James R. Moore; daughters, Tami (Randy) Olds, Tena (Louie) Hobson, Charlene (Roy Sr) Potter; sons, Greg Feathers, and Darren (April) Feathers, 12 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Elizabeth Kimmell. Visitation for Mrs. Moore will take place at Stevens Mortuary, 5520 West 10th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224, Tuesday, December 27 from 11am-1pm, with services immediately following at 1pm. Interment will take place at Floral Park Cemetery. Contributions in Charlotte's honor can be made to American Lung Association of Indiana.
