Norman T. “NT” Craig, 77, of Indianapolis, passed away December 29, 2016. He was born in Indianapolis on August 8, 1939 to George W. and Kathleen (O'Connor) Craig, both preceding him in death. Norman's 37-year career was spent with the US Postal service as a Tour Superintendent. Norman is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Kathleen M. Craig; sons, Eric V. (Kay) Craig and Michael J. (Terri) Craig; daughter Michelle A. Craig; brother Dennis V. (Kathleen) Craig; grandson, Isaac; and granddaughter, Madeline.

just want to let you know i am lifting you all up in prayer, asking God to give you the strength, encouragement and love in this time. NT was a very nice individual to me when i was at the post office and my dad thought highly of him.

Ironic that N.T. Craig passed on after the Christmas rush. He was responsible for moving a lot of mail in his day. A knowledgeable and decisive leader, he seemed to enjoy the reputation of being a highly demanding manager. But those of us who really knew him saw and appreciated his gentleness. He was a good and decent guy who would do anything to help someone in need. He certainly helped me a great deal as I worked for him and with him in several different capacities over the course of 30 years. RIP, my friend. And be rightfully proud of the mark you made.

My sympathy and condolences to the family of N.T. I can visualize his quick walk, his big grin under his mustache and his sometimes red face when directing postal operations. N. T. was a memorable giant in my early career and a likable person as he reached for excellence. We were all richer for having known him.
