Obituary
Christina Ann McMurray, 53 of Terre Haute passed away on January 23, 2017. Christina was born in Indianapolis Indiana on February 7, 1963 to Orval and Alice Huskisson. Christina attended Ben Davis High School. She worked at Subway as a Store Manager for twelve years. Christina loved to drag race and she really enjoyed baking. Christina was an advocate for Pitbull rights. She was really an all-around animal lover. Christina didn't know a stranger, she was everyone's mom and loved all of her children. She will be sorely missed by many. Christina is preceded in death by her mother; brothers, Alan Huskisson, Kenneth Huskisson and Phillip Huskisson. She is survived by her father; loving husband of 30 years, Matthew McMurray; daughter, Melinda McMurray; sons, Matthew McMurray Jr., Brandon McMurray and Mark McMurray; granddaughters, Auora McMurray and Carmen McMurray.

Lots of love and hugs to you all. Mama Chris was a wonderful leader, person, role model, and second mom. She loves her kids and granddaughters with everything she had. I will miss being able to call her for advice or just to talk. Rest in peace mama Chris! We love you!

Chrisina was the heart of her home! She loved everyone and worked very hard to make a secure home for her family and pets. We all loved her greatly.

My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one is never easy. May our loving God continue to bless and strengthen you as you remember that his word the Bible at John 5:28, 29 says that there is going to be a resurrection. With this promise it is possible for you to see her again. We are encouraged at 1 Peter 5:7 to pour out our heart to him in prayer because "he cares for you." Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding." (Philippians 4:6, 7) Please allow God to help you heal by means of his Word the Bible along with the site jw.org that has a wealth of information about God's future promises for those asleep in death and for all who are living. May all the many wonderful memories that Christina your loved one provided comfort you during this most difficult time.

I just heard about Christinas passing today, been trying to check on her when I visited Subway since I heard she was ill, she was one of the nicest ladies Ive ever met, got to know her over the years from eating at Subway, heaven gained an angel!
