So sad to hear of your loss. Mick was such a wonderful artist and a great teacher at the Sullivan Munce. I am sitting here looking at a beautiful painting he helped me with in a class! He really helped beautify this world and had a kind heart.

Dave, With much sadness I send my heartfelt sympathies to you. I find myself smiling as I remember the morning sun, hot coffee and deep conversations shared over brush strokes and flurries of color and form. Mick taught me more than watercolor techniques and composition. I learned to be confident ~ to engage my creativity ~ to commit to persistence and to call myself an artist. Here's to the truths, the Christmas gatherings with delightful eats and decorations galore, spring flowers and summer blooms, lunch with Sue Keaton, Remy, Vincent and Theo and mostly sharing life ~ you, me and Mick. His death takes a wonderfully talented and gentle soul from us all. I will always treasure my memories of him from when we were eight years old and classmates at Cicero Elementary through our time as a roommates at IU to the too few get togethers in the last forty years. Farewell, my friend.
