Of course when I think of Phillip, I think of all the good times we had on the Kingsley Terrace Parking lot, the meeting place for all of the kids on the block, the Moores, Martins, Holts, Boones, Owsleys, Dardens, Frank Morgan, my brother John and soo many more of us. All the talent in the world was represented on our block. Phillip was a “Cool like that” type of guy! The good memories are in vivid color, amplified with laughter of times I would wish all children could experience. As we lose one neighbor after another, I am not concerned, as I am certain we will all meet up again for ridiculously long hours of 4-Squares interrupted only by the sound of the Mr Softy truck. Peace be with you all. Dr Valerie McCray
