Patricia Gail (Coleman) Mitscher, 64 of Indianapolis passed away on March 8, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Patricia was born on July 7, 1952 in Indianapolis, IN to Frank A. and Evelyn (Miller) Coleman. Patricia was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a member of Pleasant Heights Baptist Church of Indianapolis. Patricia was a licensed Certified Medical Aide and Certified Cosmetologist. She enjoyed spending time with family and listening to music. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 19 years, Herb Mitscher; daughter, Derenda Craighead; son Christopher (Jessica) Barton; sisters, Linda (Donald) Sudduth, Gloria (Gary) J. Duemling and Beverly Fitch; brother, Frank (Beth) A. Coleman, Jr.; step-daughters, Mary Kay Mitscher and Julie (Tim) Settles; step-son, David Mitscher; six grandchildren, Dayne Barton, Mallery Barton, Ethan Mitscher, Emma Mitscher, Griffin Craighead, Gannon Craighead; and many nieces and nephews. She will be sorely missed by many. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society 5635 W. 96th Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278.
