Grace Agnes (Vargo) Medsker, 95, of Brownsburg passed away on May 23, 2017. Grace was born in Indianapolis, IN on August 9, 1921 to John Vargo and Mary Vargo-Paesuta. Grace worked as an auditor at L.S. Ayres. Grace loved working in her garden and especially her flower beds, she was known to her neighbors as the flower lady. Grace was a very giving person, she loved her family. She especially enjoyed family gatherings for birthdays and holidays. Grace was a very active and independent person. She will be sorely missed by many.
Grace is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband of 55 years in 2007, Charles E. Medsker; sister, Mary (Vargo) Reichwein; brothers, John and Frank Vargo. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Pearsey; son, John Medsker; grandchildren, Julie (Len) Van de Hey, Mylea (Brad) Juidiei, Matthew Pearsey, Robert (Jennifer) Pearsey; great grandchildren, Bella and Morgan Watters, Giana and Bradley Juidiei, Riley and Connor Van de Hey, Megan and Bobby Pearsey.

My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one is never easy. May our loving God continue to bless and strengthen you as you remember that his Word the Bible at John 5:28, 29 says that there is going to be a resurrection. With this promise it is possible for you to see her again because we know that God can not lie. Usually at some point in time after the funeral, we may find ourselves all alone to deal with our grief after family members and friends are gone. But please be assured that you are not alone. The best friend a bereaved person can have is our Creator, Jehovah God. We are encouraged at 1 Peter 5:7 to pour out our heart to him in prayer because "he cares for you." Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding." (Philippians 4:6, 7) May all the many wonderful memories that Grace your loved one provided comfort you during this most difficult time.

I didn't know your Mom, Marilyn, but knowing you from Oasis activities, I'm sure she was a lady who enjoyed life. I have been thinking about you.
