Obituary

Helen Berdine Conner
83, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017.  Visitation will be from Noon to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16th at Stevens Mortuary located at 5520 W. 10th Street, Indianapolis.  Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
Helen was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Max and Crittie Jent on February 25, 1934.  She retired from Magnode Corporation.  She also worked for Profit Foods at General Motors for many years.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.  Helen loved spending time with her family and was a member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. 
Helen is survived by her daughter, Sandy (Jerry) Woodard; her grandchildren Brian (Jennifer) Woodard, and Michael (Brittany) Conner; four great grandchildren and sister, Cathy Harwood.  Preceded in death by her parents; husband Fred; sons Steve and Gary; brothers Alex, Hop, Jack, Edward and sister Velma Crow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Alzheimer's Association “Hoofin' for Harwood”, 50 East 91st Street, Indianapolis, IN  46240.
