Marylin M. (Logsdon) Jordan, 84, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on September 2, 2017. She was born in Indianapolis to Ivy Logsdon and Dorothy Ruth (Sweetwood) Abbott on June 23, 1933.  Marylin retired with over 23 years of employment with Apex Ventilating. She also owned and operated her own craft store with her sisters in Nashville, IN. Marilyn was a life-long member and devoted parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, where she was also a member of the Women's Club. Marylin was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family for whom she so loved. Marilyn was loved by many and will be missed by all.  In 2005, Marylin was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Thomas J. Jordan II; and in 2012 she was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Ann Jordan. Marylin is survived by her brother, Ivy (Louise) Logsdon Jr.; sisters, Jenny Wheatley and Dorothy Sipes; daughters, Laura Jordan, Susan (Fritz) Lay, Jody (Kevin) Hauk, Rebecca (Paul Lambert) Barrett, and Amy (Danny) Jordan-Barton; one son, Thomas Jordan III; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church 3354 W. 30th St., Indianapolis 46222.

Its never easy to loose a loved on, and I'm so sorry for your loss. Marlin Jordan seemed like a good woman, I would like to share a verse that helped me in these times. Psalms 34:18 let's us know " Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted ." God cares for you, and he wants us to pray to him. may your hold on to all the good times.

Our family loved Marylin so much, what a great aunt, fabulous mother and wife and great friend to our mother. The double wedding my parents and your parents had, made the newspaper, very noteworthy. We still have the clipping. The promises of God let us know they are all together now. What a beautiful life Marylin and Tommy had, blessed with 52 years of marriage. Our family knows the loss you feel, but the joy and peace we have, knowing she now has a new and glorious, everlasting body for all eternity keeps our eyes on Heaven and all that we have to look forward to.
