Obituary
Wanda Eileen Mitchell, 88, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on September 28, 2017. Wanda was born on October 25, 1928 to Ora L. and Blanche Barton in Indianapolis, Indiana. Wanda was a member of the Eastern Star for 50 plus years and the Moose Lodge 500 for over 40. She was a loving and devoted mother and will be missed by many. Wanda is preceded in death by her parents. She leaves to cherish her memory; son, Ronnie Allen; daughters, Marcia Stinson and Charlene Mooney; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and brother, Forest Barton.

Ronnie, Marcia and Charlene, I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Wanda. She was an amazing lady working so hard to care fire everyone. My Donnie, Drew and I loved her dearly. She was a lifeline to her sister Doris trying to care for and keep her happy and healthy after Wyman died. She will be missed dearly. Hang in there and know you are loved by Drew and me and many more. Rest in peace Wanda and enjoy your reunion with those that passed before her. Love and hugs. Hope to see you all soon.

My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one is never easy. May our loving God continue to bless and strengthen you as you remember that his word the Bible at John 5:28, 29 says that there is going to be a resurrection. With this promise it is possible for you to see her again because we know that God can not lie. Usually at some point in time after the funeral when family members and friends are gone we may find ourselves all alone to deal with our grief. But please be assured that you are not alone. The best friend a bereaved person can have is our Creator, Jehovah God. We are encouraged at 1 Peter 5:7 to pour out our heart to him in prayer because "he cares for you." Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding." (Philippians 4:6, 7) May all the many wonderful memories that Wanda your loved one provided comfort you during this most difficult time.
