Randall Wise

Randy Wise, 61, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on October 17, 2017. He was born in Indianapolis on July 17, 1956 to Alfred M. and Judith L. Priest-Wise, both preceding him in death. He was also preceded in death by granddaughter, Makayla Damron; grandson, Austin Damron and sister, Beth-Ann Walker. A little more than 60 years ago, Randy Wise took his first steps on the west side of Indianapolis; first running into the arms of his father, Alfred, and his mother, Judith, before eventually stealing the heart of Sheila Whitaker his wife of 41 years. The majority of Randy's life was spent with his beloved wife, whom he had two daughters with, Carrie and Amy. The three ladies were his pride and joy. Throughout the years, Randy became a grandfather. They were the lights of his life, and to them he was pappy. He also became a father-in-law to two wonderful sons-in-law. On Earth Randy leaves behind two brothers, a sister, and a sister he was reunited with in Heaven. Randy also became a brother to many friends over the years. And whether it was during the nights of fishing, or family picnics, or while watching his favorite western, Randy found the joys in life, at home with family and friends. For those that knew him well he had a warm heart and a witty sense of humor. He'll leave behind memories that will be cherished by those he loved and those who loved him. On Tuesday morning October 17th, 2017 it was time for him to fly home once again into the arms of his mother and father in Heaven. Randy is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sheila K. Wise; daughters, Carrie (Robert) Damron, Amy (Dave) Smith; grandchildren, Katelyn Damron, Justin Damron, Emma Wise, Makinley Smith and Macayden Smith; brothers, Timmy Wise and Joe Wise; sister, Rene Heath and many nieces and nephews.
