Joan Prevo

Joan L. Prevo, 87, of Indianapolis passed away on November 29, 2017. Joan was born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 2, 1930 to Bert and Mary Louise Vetter Johns. Joan worked or John Pickett Hearing Aids as a consultant. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Joan was a fan of automobile racing. She enjoyed reading and following politics. Joan is preceded in death by her parents; and loving and devoted husband Paul L. Prevo. Joan is survived by her daughters, Kathleen (Thomas) Sauer of Terre Haute, IN and Claudia Prevo of Indianapolis; granddaughters, Laura (Matthew) Kohus of Cincinnati, OH and Karen (Joseph) Costanzo of Avon, IN; great-grandsons; William and Henry Kohus, both of Cincinnati, OH. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church 6000 W. 34th Street Indianapolis, IN with a memorial gathering from 12:00 noon until time of Mass. Interment will take place, at a later date, at Lincoln Memory Gardens. In lieu of Flowers the family kindly ask that charitable contributions be made to St. Vincent Hospice 8450 N.
